Burnley Academy Director Lee Waddington commented immediately after the tournament “The All Star boys played and behaved absolutely brilliantly today. In unfamiliar surroundings it can often be difficult but the lads have obviously been listening to their coaches and there were some great skills on show!”
During the competition the boys played against some of the most talented under 6s in the North West but the All Star Sports lads played some great football and several players caught the eyes of the Burnley coaches.

One of the boys parents, Miss Bennett, said that “I think all of the boys really enjoyed their day! They all left the pitch with a beaming smile. I can only speak on behalf of my little boy but he has been going to the All Stars sessions for over a year now and he absolutely loves it every week!”
