Apprentice Opportunity!
We have an incredible opportunity to ‘earn while you learn’ with All Star Sports! We are hiring for an apprentice sports coach to help us maintain and develop our excellent reputation amongst nurseries and in the communities of Greater Manchester on a fixed term 12 month contract (with a view to a permanent role). If you are 18 years of age or younger and you are passionate about sport we would love to hear from you!
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to acquire:
NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service
Functional Skills Qualifications
First Aid Certificate
Child Safeguarding Certificate
Sports Leaders Awards
FA Level One Football Coach
Handball Level One Coach
Dodgeball Level One Coach
The successful applicant will be expected to assist and eventually lead in the delivery of sports coaching sessions in nurseries and in community settings throughout North Manchester. You would be expected to help plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions and deliver children’s birthday parties too. You would be expected to do all administrative duties involved in a sports coaching role, typing registers for sessions, making telephone calls and sending letters and e-mails.
SALARY: £300 per month + bonuses and expenses
HOURS: 30 hours per week
WORKING WEEK: Any 3 days per week, Saturday morning and Sunday morning.
CLOSING DATE: Friday 8th March 2013
CRITERIA: Must be 18 years old or younger on April 1st 2013.
